No. In Alberta an electrical permit is required to be pulled in order for your system to become activated. Experience and skill will play a large part in how your system will perform. Prices have gotten to a point where they have settled. At this point waiting longer is not going to be worth your while. If there will be any upcoming price drops, they will be very minimal.

For all systems installed on roofs, this would not be required. Some ground based systems may require manual angle change for optimal efficiency throughout the year.
